News media are welcome to photograph or shoot video of Carroll University's buildings and scenes using the public sidewalks and walkways. To shoot on the university's property, you must first contact us for approval.

Media parking on campus

Please notify us if you plan to visit Carroll University's campus and we’ll be happy to reserve a parking space for you. In the event that we invite you on campus via a media advisory, there is no need to call before coming.

We know how important your job is to deliver accurate, timely news. Our team is committed to working with journalists to craft and disseminate university communications to the public. Our office is the first point of contact for all media inquiries and the source for official information about the university. We will respond promptly, courteously and professionally to all requests from members of the media who seek information and/or access to speak with one of our source experts. Our team fosters great relationships with local, regional and national reporters, editors, bloggers and news and radio producers. We are a valuable resource to you, and can arrange visits to campus, interviews with our well-respected faculty and staff, and photo opportunities. Our goal is to make your experience with Carroll positive and efficient. To help us achieve this goal and to better serve you, we ask that media review our policy below.

Policy

To ensure the privacy of Carroll University students, faculty and staff, we ask that all media contact us before visiting campus. We are happy to help facilitate your visit on campus, to arrange interviews and to assist with other multimedia needs.

You are welcome to photograph or film video of Carroll University's buildings and scenes using the public sidewalks and walkways. To film on the university's property, you must first contact the Office of Marketing and Communications for approval. We may also be able to provide you with video on a case-by-case basis. During an emergency, media may be required to remain within a designated area due to law enforcement or safety concerns.

During an emergency at Carroll University, we ask that you contact us directly. During a weather emergency that disrupts normal university operations, our team will contact the news media with information to disseminate to the public.
